Captain Mo is a Miami native and has been successfully guiding clients on his Miami flats and bay fishing charters for over 19 years as a Miami flats guide. His passion for fishing in Miami began as a young child when his family introduced him to the simple pleasure of fishing in and around the Miami and Florida Keys bridges and shorelines. These simple local adventures sparked a fire in Captain Mo that has never gone out and has in fact burned brighter with each passing year.
As he entered high school he began to book the occasional Miami offshore fishing charter and was exposed to a number of different Miami fishing charters and opportunities further increasing his exposure to the multitude of fishing opportunities in and around Miami. Very quickly in his pursuit of his fishing passion he read every fishing book, magazine and watched every fishing show trying to satisfy his insatiable appetite for all things fishing in Miami.
However, a few years after graduating high school he purchased his first inshore fishing boat and upon fishing the inshore bay waters of Biscayne Bay a love affair developed and he has been fishing the Miami inshore flats ever since.
Fast forwarding to today, Capt. Mo left a successful corporate career and a college degree to pursue his true passion, being a Miami flats fishing guide where he has had great success as an inshore fishing guide in Miami, lead a client to an IGFA certified world record bonefish and has developed a strong following amongst his clients. However, if you ask Captain Mo what is the highlight of his career he skips over the many accolades and he simply states "it's the clients that are the highlight." It is often said that people board their boat as clients and leave as friends.
